US Open Restaurants
Flushing, New York is one of the oldest and most historical towns in the nation. Originally founded in 1645 by Dutch colonists, Flushing was also one of the first places in America where freedom of religion was upheld and practiced by Quakers. Today, the town has grown as a suburb of New York City and is a very diverse neighborhood, setting a serene location for the US Open.
Getting to the US Open
The best way to get around New York City is by subway, and the Shea Stadium/ Willets Point station is just a 5-minute walk from the Billie Jean Tennis Center. Other transportation options may include shuttles from your particular hotel, taxi, or bus. Travelling by car is possible, though traffic and parking costs usually make it a bit of a nuisance.
